Whipped Smoked Dulse Goat Cheese Recipe

This whipped, creamy spread with a hint of smokiness is a great addition to a cheese or charcuterie board, as well as an amazing spread for sandwiches or bagels.

Ingredients
8.5oz Plain Goat Cheese, room temperature
1/2 Cup Applewood Smoked Dulse
1/4-1/2 Cup Half & Half
Directions
Place the Smoked Dulse in a dry skillet heat to medium-low
Watching the Dulse carefully, allow it to toast, but not burn
Once the Dulse is toasted, transfer it to a bowl and crush it by hand until it is crumbled but some larger pieces remain
Add the Smoked Dulse and Goat Cheese to the bowl of a stand mixer and stir to combined
Sill using the “stir” setting, drizzle the half & half in slowly
Turn up the mixer and whip until a fluffy texture is achieved
Allow to sit at room temperature for an hour before serving or refrigerate to serve several hours later
